Kahapon ay pumunta ako sa Makati High para sa orientation for Fusion.. without knowing, Meron na palang bagyo na rumaragasa sa Pilipinas. Habang nanunuod at nakikigulo ako sa mga teacher at estudyantye ng maksci, nahaggard ako kasi binabaha na pala ang iba kong mga kaibigan at kamaganak.

3 years ago, same thing happened... Praktis namin ng cheerdance yun for intrams. Hindi ako ganun nahaggard kasi ang naging problema noon ay ang malakas na hangin. Haggard lang talaga ang mga pangyayari na yun! as in Baha kung baha! What made the worry more is the fact that some of my friends and relatives are already staying at their rooftop. And the flood gets deeper and deeper by the minute. Napapaisip tuloy ako kung meron ba silang nakakain at kung nakuha na ba sila sa kinalalagyan nila.

Alam ninyo yung feeling na alam mong nanganganib ang buhay nila pero wala kang magawa other than to pray and hope for the best. Haggard lang talaga!! Sana ligtas sila... Sana Ok lang sila...

Enlistment and Enrolment Escapade

Maski lumalaganap na ang A(H1N1) sa Pilipinas, di pa rin pinapasa ang pagpapaikli ng klase.. pero yun... Namove ang mga klase sa June 15 or 16. Anyhow... gusto ko ishare ang aking schedule at konting insights dito. Please refer to the image above.

Dahil ako ay xanga user, dito na ako magpopost ng sched ko. uso kasi sa multiply. Para maiba naman di ba? hahha!!

Kung makikita ninyo, meron akong 7 subject sa nakalagay sa pic sa itaas. pero sa totoo lang 8 na sya. hahaha!!!ganito na itsura niya.

Yeah! so all in all kasama ang NSTP ay 24 units ako this sem. WHOOOOOOO! saan ka pa! sabi nila pag 21 units ka di ka na daw mararamdaman sa campus. minsan nalang daw. haha! pero 24 un! Any how... dahil sa RGEP, malaya kami makapamili ng kukuhanin namin na subject at yan ang nakuha ko.

Yan! ganito ang nangyari. Sa first run, natuwa ako. 15 units agad nakuha ko. yun ay Math 2, hum 1, EDFD 120, Fil 50 at Edtech 101. So sabi ko "yes!! isang subject nalang!! whoohoo!! kaya to sa 2nd run! yeah!!! So yun. nung 2nd run.. inenlist ko ay Philo 10, geog 1 at CWTS 1 MMME. nung nakita ko yung results... 18 units na ako! yey!! wala pang CWTS un. so na set ko na ang sarili ko na di muna ako mag CWTS.sa summer na! Pero pamayamaya bigla kong nalaman n invalid daw ung results ng 2nd batchrun at ang tatanggapin lang daw ay yung sa 1st batch run results. so ako... SHOCKS!!! PRE-ROG!!! AHHHH!!! pero bago magenrolment... nag assess daw sila at nag2nd batch run ulit and this time, guess WHAT...

18 units na ako!! + CWTS pa! yeah!!

whooo!! no more prerog!! yeah!!!

pero later on... bigla kong nalaman na may naopen na mga subject at MAJOR YUN! YUN YUNG MGA SEASONAL NA SUBJECTS and when I say seasonal.. ito yung mga subject na once upon a time lang lumalabas... Yung tipong nakagraduate na mga ka batch mo eh di pa rin lumalabas.. hahaha!! So I took the change and add it to my subjects. as in PUMILA AKO SA CAL. pero yun... eventually nakuha ko rin siya... pero endangered kasi baka daw madissolve... SHOCKING!!! HINDI YAN!! 6 kami dun! hahahahahha!!!!!

anyhow...

Kung mapapansin ninyo, tuwing wed at friday ay sunod sunod ang aking klase... ang saya di ba? At ito ang aking magiging ruta... pag patak ng 10 am ay dapat nasa CAL 405 na ako... that means 4th floor ng CAL NEW BLG. Yeah!! ang taas nun!! saan ka pa! hahah!! then Pag patak ng 1130... tatakbo ako papuntang PH 438 at one building away yun mula sa cal. Ang saya di ba! 4th floor din!! Pagkatapos nun. By 1 pm... tatakbo ako ng eduk dahil dun yung next class ko!! hahaha!! so mararanasan ko na rin ang kulang kulang 5 oras diretso na klase. Oh MY!!

Pero isa sa agenda ko this sem ay pumayat! Kailangan kong pumayat! CWTS ko ay life saving aka rapelling. WOW!! HANEP di ba? so dapat akong pumayat. Ang mga dadalhin ko ay ang mga sumusunod... Gatorade at Extrajos! yan ay para sa energy.. Kailangan ko umiwas sa pagkain. KAILANGAN KONG PUMAYAT!! go! go! go!

Isang beses nalang magtatanghalian! KAILANGAN ISA LANG!!!! hahah!! walang miryenda!! kung meron man... SKY FLAKES NALANG!! hahah!!! AND FIT AND RIGHT!!! YEAH!!!

ohh... wala lang... hehehe... I was just being heretic again... heheh... Subjected to change pa naman ito. pero most probably ito na yung mga bagay na gusto kong maaccomplish sa buhay. Naks! hahaha! Medyo mabababaw lang ung iba sa mga ito.

Ang kalungkutan

Totoo nga ang sabi ng aking mga guro noong high school. Hindi nga parehas ang buhay sa kolehiyo sa buhay na tinamasa namin noong high school. Hindi ko alam pero may nadarama akong pangungulila ngayong kolehiyo. Para bang wala akong kilala sa mga taong ito pero sa totoo kilala ko naman sila. Bakit ganun? Noong high school ako, marami akong kalokohan kasama ang aking mga kabarkada. Gala dito, gala doon. Tawanan dito, harutan doon. Iba talaga ang feeling. May mali ba akong nagawa?

Hindi ko alam. Minsan tinatago ko nalang sa halakhak at ngiti ang pangungulila ko. Wala namang nakakapansin masyado.

Minsan, gusto kong lumabas kasama ang aking mga kaibigan noong high school. Manuod lang ng sine o kaya ay maglaro lang kahit saglit sa Time Zone o Quatum. Tapos kumain sa kahit anong kainan at magkwentuhan kung kamusta na sila. Pero bakit hindi ko ito magawa? Walang pera? Walang oras? Hindi ko alam.

Ayaw ko ng ganitong pakiramdam. Ito ang isa sa mga kinatatakutan kong pakiramdam, ang pangungulila sa mga kaibigan. Minsan sumagi sa isip kong mas gusto kong bumalik sa nakaraan kaysa harapin ang kasalukuyan at kinabukasan. Pero hindi ba't isang duwag ang matatawag mo sa akin sa ganitong pagiisip?

Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift... that's why it is called present. Lagi pinapaalala ng Comm 3 prof ko iyan. Natutuwa naman ako sa kataggang yan.. pero.. hindi ko alam... Basta miss ko na ang maging bata. Miss ko na maging HS... Miss ko na maging Elementary... Miss ko na ang nakraan.

Sana lang talaga bigyan ako ng isa pang pagkakataon upang magsaya sa nakaraan. WaaaH! naiiyak na tuloy ako... Pinapakinggan ko pa ay so close ni Jon McLaughlin.. Ugh! Basta... pero dahil imposible ang aking hinihiling... Ito nalang siguro.. Sana hindi magtuloy tuloy ang ganitong pakiramdam. Sana makahanap ako ng mga kaibigan tulad nung mga kaibigan ko nung high school... ayaw ko na nang ganito.

Itigil mo na ito Carlo. Hindi mo kailangang mangulila. Kaya nga sumali ka ng org eh... Haaaaay... sana nga....

Ano ba ang meron sa Bell pepper?

Sa unang taon ko sa UP, marami na akong napuntahang kainan. Isa sa aking napansin ay sikat ang gulay na Bellpepper. Anu ba ang meron sa Bell pepper na iyan? Sa 10 nilang ihahahain na pagkain 7 sa mga iyon ay may red (or green) na bell pepper. POTEK! Personally, Hindi ko gusto ang bell pepper. Masyado siyang malasa na nakakasuka na ang dating (para sa akin lang naman yun). Minsan nga feeling ko iisa lang ang lasa ng mga pagkain na binibenta nila dahil sa bell pepper. Ang spaghetti, may bell pepper. Ang Pizza, May bell pepper. ANG DAMING BELL PEPPER. NASA BELL PEPPER HEAVEN KA!! hehehe...

Hindi lahat ng sinasabi ay totoo at hindi lahat ng totoo ay dapat sabihin..

Natanggap ko ang txt na iyan this year lang. Well, Totoo naman sya. We all have secrets, right? pero minsan, mahirap ding itago ang katotohanan lalo na kung binabagabag ka nito.
May mga bagay na bumabagabag sa tin araw araw. Ito yung mga bagay na ating itinatanggi maski na alam natin na totoo naman ito. Mahirap siyang ilabas kasi alam mong marami ang mabibigla at may masasaktan. Kaya mas nanaisin mo nalang itago ito sa sarili mo. pero mahirap talaga siya. Darating din ang tamang panahon na kakailanganin mong ilabas ito. ang poproblemahin mo nalang ay kung kailan at paano mo ito ipagtatapat.

Haay buhay...

Nakakainis lang talaga...

Some movie lines... Movie Brat strikes again

I want to update my blog but I can't think of any good topic. So I searched several lines from some of the movies that I have watched. I commented on them based on what I understood and based on my so called philosophy. bwahahahahaha!!

One of the best lines that i have ever heard. It contradicted the greatest CLICHE in courtship history. Sa totoo lang, naiinis ako sa mga taong nagsasabi sa kanilang nililigawan o hiniwalayan ng mga katagang "I can't live without you." In fact, you have been living for <insert age here> years so why are you insisting that you cannot live without this person. Anu yun? kapapanganak mo lang nung araw na nakilala mo siya?? Vital organ mo ba siya? Anyhow. This line showed the cruel truth of life that some people ignore when they are in love. hahaha!! Pero yun.. sa movie, ang ganda ng scene kung saan yan sinabi. kaya kung ako sa mga manliligaw dyan.. ito ang gamitin ninyo!! kasi totoo naman sya di ba?

I myself was amaze with this line from stardust. ang ganda kaya ng line na yan. Mapapaisip ka kung ikaw ba ang nasa posisyon ng isang bituin at tumitingin ka sa mundo. makakayanan mo bang makita ang mga gera at labanan. Isipin nyo na lang kung ano kaya ang pagtingin ng sumulat nito para isulat ang linyang yan. Marahil iniisip nya na walang katapusan ang gera sa mundo. parang wala nang pagasa. tsk tsk tsk. pero yun. Haay. Totoo yang linya na yan. Nung narinig/nabasa ko yun, naalala ko yung HS days ko. haay.. anyweiz. this line reminds us that our society is diverse. It consists of millions of different of people. The best thing that I can think of is we have to be thankful sa mga taong nakikilala natin. Kung sino man sila, ano man sila, anu man ang ugali nila, anu man ang ginawa nila, you spent at least 9 seconds of your life with them. Ito ay madalas nating makita sa mga movies na lumayas ang bida pero nagsisis at bumalik sa bahay niya. Mala prodigal son. applicable din sya sa mga short term departure from home. eh? Di mo ba naeexperience yun. Naaalala mo ba nung bata ka at tuwing umuuwi ka sa bahay, it Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same... pero ikaw, may baon kang kwento at kung anu ano pa at sasabihin sa iyo ng nanay mo 'Saan mo nakuha/natutunan yan?' Pero isa lang ang masasabi ko, iba pa rin talaga ang sariling tahanan kung saan ka lumaki. HAAAAAy....

I agree with this line. The only time you'll know the importance of a person or an object is when they were taken away from you. Ngayon, inaaaway mo ang nanay mo dahil hindi ka lang nabigyan ng baon. wala kang pakialam sa tatay mo dahil hindi naman kayo close. Naiinis ka sa kapatid mo dahil lagi ka nyang nasasapawan. Pero sa kabila ng lahat ng iyan, pag nawala na sila sa iyo, ikaw naman tong iiyak ng ilang gabi. sabi sa akin ng prof ko sa Counseling "Sa lamay lang talaga nakukumpleto ang pamilya." grabe yang linyang iyan. As in! yan ang nagtrigger sa akin na iunite ko ang pamilya ko. Isa pa ay yung sa anime na Dr blackjack. It goes like this... Wag mong tatanggalin ang isang parte ng katawan na hindi naman talaga kailangang tanggalin. Pag nagtanggal ka, maski yung parte na iyon ay walang silbi, may masamang mangyari sa buo mong katawan. haay... Napaka ganda talaga nitong linya na ito... We should all live by it.

Yan!! So kamusta naman ang 1st year ko sa college? Ok lang! Nakakatuwa! Maraming kakaiba ang nangyari at marami ring kakaiba ang aking natunghayan.. hehehe.
Bilang ngayon lang ako "ulit" nakapagblog, magpopost ako ng comparison ng buhay high school at Buhay college ayon sa aking naranasan. Kayo na bahala humusga kung tama o mali ang aking sinasabi. pwede rin naman kayong magcomment sa sasabihin. Wag kayong mahiya! hehehe!! Speak up!!! YEAH!! Yung iba sa mababasa ninyo ay medyo seryoso.. ang iba naman ay... Uhmm... Balahura lang.. hahaha!!! Pero yun...

COMMENT MUNA SA COLLEGE LIFE:
Yun! Masaya... Medyo kakaiba pero most likely parehas lang ng buhay namin noong HS. (hindi sa pagmamayabang) since sa up ako nagaaral, maraming kakaiba akong naeexperience at nalalaman. Siguro dahil sa pagiging diverse ng community ng UP, maraming issue ang tinatanggap at naooopen.Isa sa mga natutunan ko sa UP, kailangan maging open at kritikal ka sa mga bagay-bagay. Wag mong pairalin ang pagiging one sided kasi marami kang makakabangga na talagang aawayin ka. Pero when It comes to ideologies, dyan na nagkakatalo. it all ends up in defending your own ideology. Medyo wlang sense ang last 3 sentences na tinaype ko.. hahaha!!! Pero yun!! Basta nais ko lang sabihin na pag nasa UP ka.. Dapat Critical ka, Open Minded ka, at You should find a way to defend your ideology without offending other people. hehehe...

Another thing is yung mga nakakatakot na kwentong naririnig ko mula sa mga tao.Nakakatakot in terms of danger not the spooky stuff. I believe totoo yung cnasabi nilang pagpumasok ka sa UP . para kang pumasok sa isang park. sa Jurassic Park. Medyo nakakatakot nga.. Kasi anytime pwede kang mapahamak. (basta kung anu man ang mangyari sa akin... Paki dala nalang po yung bag ko sa bahay namin. )

GAME NA!!!

1. HS: you are confine to a single Building; College: Kailangan mo pang maglakad papunta sa kabilang building para sa next class mo.

Kung noong HS ay nashock ang buong maksci dahil pinapalipatlipat kami ng classroom. well mas mashoshock ka pag building ang pinaglilipatan mo. Mahabang lakaran siya! As in. Imagine, may 2 magkasunod na klase kang 1/2 kilometro ang layo ng building. Di ba ang saya? Ito ang naginspire sa aking magpapayat. Kaya lang madaming kainan bago ka makarating sa susunod na building. Kaya yun. Mataba pa rin ako. Pero look at the bright side. At least may exercise ka araw araw.

2. HS: UNIFORM!!!!; College: CASUAL lang! yeah!

Sa college.. may mga university na walang uniform. So kanya kanyang trip! hehehe!! Kung gusto mong pumasok ng nakapajama OK lang!!! Kung gusto mong pumasok ng naka pambahay OK lanG!! DI BA ANG SAYA!!! Di katulad nung HS ka. Kulangin ka lang ng Ribbon, Tie, Medyas, Shoes, Dignidad, di ka papapasukin o kaya naman ay papagalitan ka! Tapos may time pa na inaayusan ka ng teacher mo pag magulo ang colar ng blouse o polo mo. (shocks! nakakamiss to) Sa college naman, wlang paki sa suot mo ang teacher mo. Keri lang yan!!!

3. kakaiba ang grading system sa college. Isang number lang ang nagrerepresent ng bagsak. Sa HS.. Madami... Umaabot pa nga ng 45 ang grade ng estudyante.

Sa ibang university... 1.0 - 5.0 ang grade na binibigay. sa iba... 1.0 ang pinakamataas at 5.0 naman ang pinakamababa.. sa iba... baliktad. Meron din namang Letters na makikita sa grades mo.. Ito ay INC or DRP... Di ba weird? hahaha!! Sa Hs wala niyan!!! talagang ang grade ay nagrerange mula 100 hanggang 0. (Zero based kasi. SHOCKING TO!!!) Pag di ka kumpleto sa requirement mo.. sa HS.. ipapatawag ka or ibabagsak ka. sa college... INC ang nakalagay. So mapipilitan kang pumunta sa prof mo. Pagbagsak... Sa HS... nagrerange to mula 79 hanggang 0. sa College... 5.0 lang!! No excuses! bagsak na yan!!! Meron din namang 4.0... Ibig sabihin kailangan mong magremovals exam para makapasa ka o ibagsak mo yung subj mo.

4. HS: 1 year ang isang subject... College: 1 sem ang isang subject. Depende kung ilang buwan ang isang sem sa college nyo.

Sa college... Isang sem lang ang isang subj.. kaya pag mahirap o trible ang prof mo... magdidiwang ka talaga pagkatapos ng Final exam mo! sa HS... Isang buong taon mo makakasama ang teacher mo!depende nalang kung nagleave siya, namatay o nagresign. Pag ikaw ang bahala mamili ng subject mo, iba iba ang prof mo at ang kaklase mo. ANG SAYA!! EVERY SEM IBA IBANG FRIENDS!!! IBA IBANG TAO!!! Sa HS... constant ang teacher mo. malalaman mo ang strategy niya at kung anu ano pa... sa college... once na nakapa mo na ang strategy ng prof mo... malalaman mo nalang na tapos na ang semester! hahahah!!! napaka sawing palad!

5. HS: Concern sayo ang teacher mo. Teacher: "ohh, bumagsak ka. Tignan mo grade mo. Kailangan mong bumawi next quarter. O gusto mo magremedial ka or special project." College: Walang paki sang ibang prof. kadalasang linya ng prof "... Oh? Napadaan ka?"

Totoo yan! wala masyadong paki sa iyo ang prof mo sa college. Bibilang lang ang mga concerned prof. Swerte mo pang yun ang naging prof mo. Sa college, ikaw ang bahala lumapit sa kanya. mabibigla ka nalang pag nilabas na ang grades tapos bagsak ka pala. Sa high school, pasalamat ka at concern pa sa iyo ang teacher mo. Nagbibigay pa nga ng remedial at special project yung iba. pag nasa college ka.. mamimiss mo yung concerned teachers mo..

6. HS: NOTES!! KAILANGAN!!! College: NOTES? WALA AKO NYAN EH? HANDOUTS LANG..

Sa High school. Kailangan mo ng notes para mabuhay. Bakit? Graded kasi minsan at yun ang lalabas sa exam!! By the end of the year, karamihan sa mga teacher mo ay kokolektahin ang notebook para makita ang notes mo. Sa college, di na masyado uso ang notes. Ikaw na ang bahala kung magnonotes ka. As of now, wla pa naman akong prof na nangongolekta ng notebook. Pero isang katutak ang Handout!!! Grabe!! Alam nyo bang bumibigat ang bag ko dahil sa makakapal na handouts? white paper kasi.. Mabigat. Mamumulubi ka sa sobrang dami ng ipapaphotocopy mo! kaya sa college usong uso ang photocopy machine. Kung balak mong magtayo ng negoyo. Photocopy center is the best!!!
